momentarily lapse of my senility

I sit in the chair, cigarette dangling from my lip and a thin stream of smoke nearly blinding my right eye, waiting.
I'm waiting for that moment of inspiration wear my head lowers and my hands fly like a parody of an insane pianist. yes, that is how i usually write.
Nothing happens so I wait.
Much has happened and I have changed so much and so little.
Live journal used to be a place where i allowed myself to pour out my thoughts without a care for grammar or civility. Then i added friends to it. i am gagged. I dont want to hurt anyone by how i think or feel at random moments.

So take this a a disclaimer for those of you made the cut. if you find something here that bothers you or hurts you in some fashion, it is your own damn fault for reading any further. I need the cathartic font of writing without compunction.

Im sick to death of censuring myself for the feelings of others in my private venues. Its like an unwelcome guest who judges you based on your home decor.. i used to write constantly and now i never do it. Im so rusty i cant bring myself to punch out more than a sentence or two.

Im going to be positive for now... im sure that i will lapse later into a rage so i think ill enjoy the positive for now.

I love the folk in my life now.
Gypsy rose... my girl. we are finally reaching a point where things are ok between us. I love her like water.

Amber... she truly is a life mate and i am more grateful than i can say that she has finally wandered back and done the most shocking thing ever. Put down roots. im not a lesbian, but i really do consider her my mate.

Roy. .... my friend. For life or longer i will love that man and I have no greater wish than his happiness.

Targon.... My knight in shining armor. he really is.

Vels... fucked up as things got... i have been forced to face the fact that i love him and am stuck with him forever. i am so glad we got shit mostly straight. the kinks will work out in time.

Jesse girl... she is a light in the dark.. beautiful and happy.. silly and crazy. her beauty makes me shine.

Mike. Mike.... laugh... and sing.. that is my mike.

it's fucking hot in here and i find myself pouring sweat.......

Ok Ok

Updated

Im still here.

My kid wrote this as a process paper for school.

This is what pops up when i hit paste... so you get it.

have fun.

I love waking up on a Sunday morning to find my mom making our "Sunday Sandwiches". Walking into the living room smelling bacon and toasted bread is the best thing to wake up to. Since I guess there's other people out there who'd love to wake up to this, I'm going to tell you how my mom makes these sandwiches.

The ingredients for two people are:
Two eggs
Eight slices of bacon
As much Monterrey Jack cheese as you prefer
Some mayo
Two slices of tomato
Green leaf lettuce.
Four slices of whole, grain bread.

The secret to these sandwiches is in two things. The quality of the ingredients and timing. Use good food for this. Wonder bread and kraft singles will not make this. Only make one sandwich at a time until you get the timing right. This is a good way to make a simple sandwich and look like a gourmet chef.

I'm going to tell you how my mom makes hers, because I have mine a special way. First, you pre-cook the bacon, since this takes the longest. Then you to cook the egg, with out breaking the yolk. So, you put a skillet down on the stove, and crack the egg, and put it in the pan.
This is the hardest part. My mom normally has to do it a few times before she gets it right.

While you have your egg cooking; it won't take long, add another pan to the oven to toast your bread. Or put it on one of those George Foreman grills. My mom likes to use the big , slice it yourself whole grain bread, the kind with seeds and other good stuff in it, so I recommend you do too.

Now comes the part with important timing, when you flip the egg over turn the bread over and put the cheese on the bread so it starts to melt. The take the side that does not get cheese and put a little mayo, the tomatoes and lettuce and the bacon.
By now, the egg should be perfect, remove the egg from the skillet and put it on top of the other ingredients and then top with the bread that is now covered in melted cheese. Be careful not to burn yourself!

Put on a plate, slice in half, and enjoy with some fruit, and a big glass of orange juice. (:

Optional ingredients:
These ingredients are for variations.
Avocado
Pepper Jack cheese instead of Monterrey Jack
Alfalfa sprouts instead of lettuce
Sourdough bread instead of Whole grain

For the truly brave

Replace the egg with turkey breast and the tomato with apple

Try it!

I just wanted to let everyone know that in the midst of the chaos I am surrounded by I have decided that I need a small reprieve.

As most of you know from hearing me go on and on (at great and tiresome length I am sure) I am a very big fan of the TV series "Firefly" and the movie "Serenity".

The 30th is the one year Big Damn Anniversary of the release of Serenity. As I cannot arrange a proper celebration with fireworks and dancing Midgets, some friends and I are throwing a "Serenifly" festival at the Factory at 422 Palafox st. We will be showing the series and then the movie.

This will happen on Tuesday, October 3rd. We will be starting the first eposode at 4:oo pm. Anyone who shows up dressed as a character from the series will receive free coffee. Bring friends and initiate them to the Firefly 'verse.

One year later and Still Flyin'!

There's good people in the 'verse..Not many, Lord knows, but you only need a few.
-Malcolm Reynolds

I find myself utterly fascinated by the Brad Pitt / Angelina Jolie spectacle. Having a brain in my head means that I realize they are just people and deserve privacy as much as anyone else. Whatever. They are Beautiful. Which means I like to look at them. Doesn't everyone like to look at the beautiful and happy?

While most folk go on vacation and bring back a snow globe, The Pitt Jolie family adopts beautiful exotic children from countries not covered in the public school history curriculum. Want to bet that changes?

The media wants me to love them. The newspapers and magazines tell me they are kind and giving humanitarians. I stare at pictures of Brad unloading boxes from a helicopter in his ratty leather jacket and wonder.... Is the pussy that good or is he really a great person? He seems like a good guy... well, he looks really good and has the disarming smile of a saint.

I honestly would not be surprised to find out that they are superheroes. Angelina is the chosen one and Brad can take the form of a winged lion and fly through the night sky bringing fear and justice to evildoers everywhere.

Or......

Are they Hellspawn sent to force us into slavery for the dark prince? Beautiful and good ....only to lull us into a false sense of security so we will be caught unawares when they rise up.... take over our governments and rule us with a cruel and terrible rage. They only had so many children to start a trend so that they can feed on the tender young flesh of the fashionably produced child masses. Already worshipped as pop icons, is the step to terrestrial god so far? Those lips.... so perfect for sucking the soul from a small child.

Now I am being paranoid. Not to mention creeping myself out quite a bit.

Time to stop.

Today on "This old Ho" we will learn what to do when your deadbeat husband spends your dental bill money on shoes.

First, after pissing and moaning about your aching tooth for the better part of a year, when the cavity reaches a size that a pea can comfortably rattle in, you fill the cavity with orajel and take a double dose of your post surgery painkillers.

Then, marching merrily to the drugstore you purchase a package of Dentek (tm) Temparin Filling Material (tm). This old Ho suggests the pain relief formula because it is pain relief formula.

Finally, go home and spackle your face liberally with the aforementioned product, and don't forget to speak to everyone through a curtain of drool while holding one side of your face out at a sharp 90 degree angle to your head.

Viola!! Fixed tooth!

And you get face spackling!!

Why is a little voice in the back of my head screaming that at home dentistry is a BAD BAD BAD BAD idea?

I will drown the little voice in crown royal and percosets.

Until tomorrow, when we will witness this old ho calling the emergency dental clinic in a panic.
